What are the next steps?

Once your paperwork is complete, you will gain access to our HR, payroll, and learning system, Workday. From here you can complete your assigned learning. Mandatory training such as Data Handling and Security Awareness Training will be due one month after it has been assigned. New Hire Orientation will be held during the last week of the month. An invite will be sent to you automatically through Workday.
How do I get onto payroll?

Once your paperwork has been completed, our HR team will create your employee profile in Workday. Login information will be sent to you and/or your supervisor. Through Workday, you can access paystubs, enroll in benefits, request and track time off, and clock in and out if you are an hourly employee.
When and how do I get paid?

Our pay days are every other Friday. All employees will be able to enroll in direct deposit. If you elect direct deposit, your first paycheck will be deposited into your account electronically. Be sure you enter your account information correctly.
Do I qualify for insurance benefits, how can I enroll, and when do they start?

All employees hired on as regular, full-time are eligible to enroll in insurance benefits. You will enroll through Workday one or more days after receiving access to your employee profile. Benefits will begin on the 1st of the month after you begin your employment with Bridge.
Do I qualify for 401(k), how can I enroll, and when does it start?

All regular, part-time and full-time employees are eligible to enroll in the 401(k) program. You will be auto-enrolled with a 6% contribution through the program. Contributions will begin on the 1st of the month following your first 60 days of employment at Bridge. Bridge will also match dollar for dollar up to 6% of your salary, and it is immediately vested at 100%. To opt out, you must register through Empower Retirement and change your contribution to zero.
What is our Paid Time Off policy?

Paid Time Off (PTO) is accrued on a pay period basis depending on your length of service and level in the company. (For California time off information, please refer to the California Employee Handbook.) Employees with 0-5 years of service will earn 17 days of PTO per year. PTO accruals will increase as tenure increase. Be aware that up to 40 hours of unused PTO can be carried over at the end of the year. Directors and above will be automatically enrolled in unlimited PTO. There are also 11 paid holidays a year.
